If only I could leave a minus 5 stars!EasyDrive Inverness is run by the Polish Mafia under the fist of don Chris Stone (who happens to have written his own Google review about the place he manages- what a saddo!). Before I tell you all about this cowboy outfit, I thought I would name and shame the employees of EasyDrive in question: Chris Stone (Branch Manager)Aleksander (and)Krzysztof^^^ My sympathies to any customers who have to deal with these three muppets....Previously, I had hired numerous vehicles from EasyDrive in the past without issue. On the last hire, I returned the vehicle to the Inverness office and was accused of damaging the vehicle in numerous places. None of this could be proven I am hasient to add! When I asked for proof of repair costs, I was sent a dodgy invoice with the prices blanked over with another piece of paper!After numerous correspondence and receiving a web of lies from Stone I contacted my credit card company who investigated and returned the 600.00 deposit which was taken under false pretences from EasyDrive.I wouldnt even consider leasing a milk float from this nasty, deceitful outfit
Had to pay through the nose for a beat up old Car (covered in scratches and dents). Very unflexible as well. Kept our 1000 pound deposit for a month. Guess this is what happens if there's no competition around.Update: the company just phoned me after reading this review and threatened to take legal action if I didn't remove it - says it all I guess...
Really convenient location for the premier inn and I got a nice upgrade. They will deliver and collect from the station but the office is less than a mile away. The car was nicely presented and drove very well. Recommended!
Un-easy drive : first, prior to arriving we were asked to get in international license which is translation even though we are from Canada. Second, we were charged 25 each as a foreign driver even though BC has a reciprocal agreement with UK (including Scotland). Third, the insurance scheme is a waiver/deductible of 1000 so based on the attendant's explanation of the insurance options we chose to pay 15 per day for our five-day rental (75) so that we wouldn't have the 1000 limit should anything happen. Fourth, we were sent a blurry photo of an apparent windshield chip which we did not see nor did any damage occur during our rental. Fifth, we were told it will cost the 150 that was held on our card to repair the chip even though we bought the extra coverage and do not agree that there was any damage. I felt uneasy from the start and feel completely scammed but sadly there is no other option in Fort William.
Easydrive lives up to its name. We picked up at Train Station in Fort Williams and deposited back the same place with minimum transaction time, a few minutes at the most. Rented a Golf VW which drove superbly well and got amazing gas mileage. Would recommend and use again.
