Rooms are really well done. Unfortunately I didn't notice the fact that the restaurant was closed for the winter when I booked which spoiled it a bit. Still recommend though
My partner and I booked a very cosy double for two nights.Check in was supposed to be 15:00 but we received a text to say our room was ready and wed been upgraded to a suite.The restaurant was closed during our stay but there is a free ferry for foot passengers over the loch to The Inn, which serves very good food.There was a fridge full of complimentary muffins, yoghurts and juice for breakfast.
Loved the food especially the vegetarian tart but the lentil soup was just about ok. Wasnt very hot as we expected it to be on a chilly and windy and rainy day. Ambience is nice. Go sit upstairs to get a nice view of the sea and ferry. Drinks is a little expensive.
I had a wonderful soup when I stopped in for wifi and a nibble, the sticky toffee pudding was one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place for a bite and beverage. The staff are nice and informative, plus the ambiance, and decor is fantastic. I was certainly impressed by this little ferry stop. If you're catching the ferry or just driving by pop on in.
Fantastic location next to the ferry. Food was well presented and an average price. Parking is fine as there is a car park for the restaurant. Service was good, not too attentive. Probably need to book in peak times etc
