Great food. Venison starter was very tasty but difficult to eat, a lot of cheese and not much to do with it. Sausage and mash was great.Brownie was dry and would be better with ice-cream and notlotted cream Great service.

This is a really lovely pub and restaurant. The food is delicious. We had the beef burger and the mushroom and truffle pasta, which was so good. The dessert was also amazing, definitely try the ginger cake. The atmosphere is really nice and it's a beautiful room. There is a cosy pub section with some couches by the fire and some tables to eat at (order at the bar). There is a separate area for booked dinner reservations with table service. The staff are friendly and the drinks selection is good.
Fantastic atmosphere in this place, we only ended up going because they stopped serving food in the wetherspoons.. thank God for that. Food was great. I think if anyone is going to be around Ben Nevis, I am going to insist that they stop by here. Worth every penny.
We loved this restaurant and would recommend it without reservation. The food was really good and the service was excellent. The two young ladies who served us were lovely - very pleasant and polite. On the evening we visited they were understaffed, but they were a credit to the restaurant, working calmly and professionally. Book to avoid disappointment!
