Good eve diner here. Good diner modern cuisine style. Tasty very tasty and diverse, small portions though. Staff was excellent quite unorganised for such style. Rooms are beautiful
Really nice, just went out for a meal. Go if you want to have something a bit fancier. We went for our anniversary. Staff are very polite and a lot of the food is locally sourced which is nice.
Excellent boutique hotel. I was in room 9 which was fine, clean, comfortable and well decorated. Stayed 1 night at end of walking West Highland Way and before returning home on the train. Didn't eat here though as found it upscale. Chose to eat in the town at one of many good restaurants in the town which is a four minutes walk away. Nice idea to have new paintings on show in the public rooms and for sale. They kindly accommodated my need for early breakfast leaving out continental, help yourself service. Pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. Drying room available if needed.
Good dinner, pretty good service. They were out of a few whiskeys on their menu, but really no complaints
Friendly and professional staff, but that's about it. The atmosphere is just tired and sad, the food is expensive, but almost inedible. Undercooked green beans and potatoes swimming in the sour sauce render even the fresh trout unpleasant. Spoiled evening in a beautiful location.
